Fast paced, Thrilling and Intoxicating Fantasy Read 

“A Darker Shade of Magic,” is book one in the Shades of Magic trilogy. If you’ve been here since winter 2020, (or if you follow me on bookstagram 🙂 ) then you are probably aware of how much I adored this book.

The traveling between worlds, dark magic, pirates and thieves, plus the unique characters in this book, captivated me like never before. Also, Victoria Schwab’s writing style and her worldbuilding is top tier and I couldn’t resist it. 😉

Today I bring you the review for this book, as I promised on my IG stories; and I’ll also be sharing the updates for “A Gathering of Shadows,” book two, which I’m currently reading.

Review: Cinder by Marissa Meyer

Exciting, intriguing, charming and edge-of-the-seat reading!

“Cinder” is the first book in the Lunar Chronicles series by Marissa Meyer. It is a beautiful retelling of the classic fairytale, Cinderella. I can begin to explain how much I appreciated this incredible novel 🙂 . I loved the character’s developments, the thrilling plot and the stunning world Marissa Meyer builded.

Review: Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

Shadow and Bone has become one of my favorites reads of the year.

Shadow and Bone is book one in the Grisha Trilogy. I was astounded when I read this book. I can’t even begin to explain how much I loved the world Leigh created, the fascinating characters and the storyline they followed. Leigh Bardugo’s writing style and the amazing universe she created is perfect (*cheff kiss*). The Grishaverse.
